There's always a better version
A low score is never the end of it. Bazu shows you the better version of what you just scanned, with the score it actually gets.
How it works
Two ways to a better meal.
A low score is never the end of it. Bazu fixes the plate in front of you, or finds you a better one for next time. Both are scored on real food, so the number you see is the number you get.
Right now
Keep the plate. Add one thing, or have half of one thing.
The meal is already in front of you.
Avocado toast, 62 → add white beans → 77
Next time
A different meal, or a better product, that does the same job.
When you are choosing again.
Chicken ramen, 37 → next time miso soup → 100
Right now
Keep the plate. Change one thing.
Add something, or have half of something. Here is what that does to the number.

The new number is your own meal, scored again. Bazu only ever suggests having less of something when the portion was big to begin with, and a change that would make the meal worse is never shown.
Next time
Next time, a better meal that does the same job.
Some plates cannot be fixed with one change. For those, Bazu remembers, and when you are choosing again it suggests a different meal in the same role, with a better score.

Why this one: rich in protein and fiber, with no refined carbs from noodles.
Every suggestion is scanned the same way your meal was before you see it, so the score on it is the score you get. A suggestion only appears if it beats what you had.
Next time, for products
Scan a barcode. See the better ones beside it.
For packaged food, next time means the same shelf, one product up: a higher score and a cleaner label.

Better options
A product only makes the list if it beats yours, scores at least 60 on its own, and is not dirtier. Another flavour of the same product never counts as an alternative to it.
