Meal management with T1D is hard, so I built Bazu to make it easier
Bazu: Built by someone who gets it

Me at my desk, working on Bazu. I usually wear shorts and a t-shirt—but I dressed up for the occasion.
Hey there!
I've lived with T1D for 18 years, and I've always believed there had to be a better, more fun way to track meals while tying them to our diabetes data effectively.
When I was younger, I kept a simple notebook—pre-glucose, carbs, insulin, post-glucose for every meal. Nothing fancy, but it worked. It kept me consistent and helped me understand my body.
That's what I'm recreating with Bazu—only smarter, faster, and way more engaging.

My actual notebook from 2006. My mom logged every meal and all my data here. This is what made me a structured diabetic—and what I want Bazu to help you become.
Bazu isn't a medical app. We won't give you any medical advice, alert, or make decisions for you. We just organize your data so you can spot trends and share them with your nutritionist, doctor—the real magic happens there.
The way I see it, managing T1D comes down to three essentials: insulin to control your glucose, a CGM or glucose meter to track it, and Bazu to organize your meals, review nutrition, and build the knowledge that ties it all together.

Just another great day with my boys. They're the soul of the brand: caring, smart, fun, loyal, and attentive.
Named after my dogs, my most loyal companions, Bazu is for every younger version of me who wanted to stay on track, feel supported, and see real patterns in their data. It's more than a logbook: AI-powered nutrition insights, gamified system, nutrition dashboards, and tools to help you become a structured diabetic—which changes everything.
We're still early, so you might not see every feature yet (and yes, a bug or two), but you'll have everything you need to start strong and stay consistent.
Lets make this journey better - together.
