• It does NOT replace consultations with qualified healthcare providers
• It is NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease

ALWAYS:

• Consult with your doctor or healthcare provider before making medical decisions
• Seek immediate medical attention for emergencies
• Follow your healthcare provider's instructions
• Inform your healthcare team about your use of Bazu

While we strive for accuracy:

• The Service relies on data YOU manually enter
• We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-entered data
• Nutritional information is provided for informational purposes only
• Glycemic index values are estimates and may vary
• AI-generated nutritional estimates may not be 100% accurate

You are solely responsible for:

• Accurately entering your health data
• Interpreting your data appropriately
• Making informed decisions about your health
• Consulting healthcare professionals as needed

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY HEALTH OUTCOMES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the Service

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without our written permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

The Service is for personal use only. Any commercial use requires our prior written consent.

The Service and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, and design) are owned by Bazu Technologies, LLC or our licensors and are protected by:

"Bazu" and all related logos, product names, and service names are trademarks of Bazu Technologies, LLC. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

• Health outcomes from using the Service
• Suitability of the Service for managing medical conditions
• Compliance with medical standards or regulations

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAZU TECHNOLOGIES, LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill
• Personal injury or property damage
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
• Any health complications or medical issues related to your use of the Service

EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

• The amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

• These disclaimers and limitations reflect a reasonable allocation of risk

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

These Terms begin when you first use the Service and continue until terminated.

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Using the "Delete Account" feature in app settings
• Contacting us at support@withbazu.com

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@withbazu.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to resolve the dispute within 60 days.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL DISPUTES MUST BE BROUGHT ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

Any claim must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arises. After that, the claim is permanently barred.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• We will notify you through the app or via email for material changes
• Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bazu Technologies, LLC regarding the Service.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights.

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters
• Acts of war or terrorism
• Government actions
• Internet or telecommunications failures
• Pandemics or public health emergencies
